Cannon type projectiles disappearing

    Do you happen to have the battle replay ID? It’s hard to make out from that clip, as the mortar damage blocks the vision. But it looks as though the greneade lands further back from the defender.

    some other glitchy things:
    shots sometimes dissapear if you shoot them right above an obstacle, yet they deal damage
    it seems like mortars (and also FB and napalm) are able to penetrate tesshield under certain conditions
    if you activate tesshield right before napalm hits you/water, animation of napalm will be on water, yet it will deal no damage

    This happens to me all the time. I fire my Carronade, hear the sound it makes, and sometimes see the projectiles in the air—
    but then I die and no damage is dealt. I'd love to see this fixed.

    You feel my pain, and I’m sure you have around a 50/50 win/loss irrespective of your performance. Did you see the difference in what the shot looked like from my view, it should have hit. BB devs acknowledge using a shot prediction algorithm in the system in order to make the game playable across 10 simultaneous world-wide players. Intentional or not, it appears that that system works, for, against, or neutrally across different games.

    I see it. You have to ignore the circle and watch the grenade .. and unfortunately it's too hard to follow. And, you're right that some games it works well and some it doesn't. You should use missiles for a few games; it's even worse.

    You're going to have unregistered hits, glitched shots that disappear, and roughly a 51% win ratio regardless of how well you do (for matching reasons). It's all a part of how the game works. The devs are aware of these things, but I don't think they can be fixed.

    The best thing you can do is adjust your play .. if shots are hitting that normally don't, then you know you're "hosting" the game or have less lag than opponents .. if your shots aren't hitting, then you have to figure out how to adjust your aim and shot selection for the lag so you're still hitting.

    It's a little tough to adjust your aim on the fly like that, but there is a middle ground between the good games and bad that should still allow you to hit most of your well-placed shots regardless of the latency.

    I'm primarily concerned about the projectiles disappearing after you sink although you all bring up valid points. Who knows, maybe that extra 900 damage from my blast is enough to help my teammate win.
