    I love Tom Bombadil! And Frodo was not "lost in the wood". He was trapped by Old Man Willow in the Old Forest (which was related to "Fangorn" Forest) with Merry, Pippin, and Sam, though only Merry and Pippin got trapped in the roots. ;);)

    If you didn't know who Glorfindel and Tom Bombadil were, or who went though the Paths of the Dead, you didn't read the books well at all.
    (And if you think the Witch King could defeat Gandalf, you've watched the movies and not read the books after.)
