Bye Bye Battle Bay

yes i agree who cares anymore. So theres new quests and you can obtain more perks and resources but what does it matter now when people are now using so many under leveled items and i am seeing so many speeders in nightmare matches using all mortars to complete the quests. This update has turned the game into a joke.

 

So are you taking responsibility for your actions to manipulate the system or are you being a brat who is complaining about having things taken away when they do something bad? You, along with everyone else who exploited the system, knew it was wrong, yet you still did it. Does that make it okay? No.
If you were really going to say "bye bye" to battle bay why would you even put the time and effort into going and making a forum post about it? Lol

About a month ago I went scrap happy to get parts to upgrade my epic swift torp to T4. Now ( guild quests ) I could really do with that rare t3 trip torp, epic rail gun etc.

Building it all back up!

 

It's a short term thing. Everyone had specialised, now we have to generalise. The cream, or rich, will rise to the top again given just a bit of time. For me - it's made this game massively more interesting.

 

ive already gotten into the top 40 local (usa) but ive played over 10 k games so its time for me to move on just not as fun anymore and each update has only made the game worse and worse

I respectfully disagree. I think the game has been given longevity. Reaching the top as a specific boat with a specific loadout is brilliant but where do you go from there? Now you have a new challenge - be good differently to satisfy guild quests. Give it a few months and the players who are good enough, rich enough, and dedicated enough will have the range of ships and items to be meet any challenge the guild quests throw at them.

 

But you might be good enough? All the best with the decision you make
