Another way to bring more players to Ranked ( Kinda hybrid version of Ranked and Casual )

    24 number is a big number , people will still feel like they are gonna risk big number of infamy . and as players says some boats have more advantage doing dmg then others . they will find it unbalanced because some boats may have more advantage to gain 24 infamy .

    this is why i suggested to reduce the number of infamy per battle . then it will give less advantage to any boat because they can only very little number of infamy .

    and also there are always some players in a battle who are higher in ranked and gear score , they can gain more if infamy number stay big as 24 .

    otherwise idea is really good . what i suggested is also similar but number of infamy is small . not saying its have to be 5 infamy but idea is put small number of infamy risk per battle then there will be no need for casual . it will be more like hybrid version of casual and ranked .

    and if someone did like 40k dmg and second boat did 20-30k dmg then top dmg dealer player will get +6 rather then +5 or if lose battle he will get -4 rather then -5
    in this way if someone win 10 battles in a row he can gain little more in some battles based on performance and if he lose 10 in a row just after winning 10 , he is not gonna lose same amount of infamy as he gain because in some battles he will lose less if performance was good . so in long run there will be a progress .

    and because number of infamy is small it will more work like small small progress everyday rather then gaining 400-500 infamy in some hour and then dropping back .
    but yes then number of infamy for per league also need to be reduce little bit .

    And yes then someone need to be really really mad to think about losing infamy on purpose because then he need to lose lots of battles rather then 10-20 to drop big number of infamy .

    As @benguin8 states, it is probably too much of an adjustment, and is only meaningful if you also define how contributions are ranked, by boat, and amongst many boat types on the same team. Is the Fixer who did 20k healing > the Defender who did 18k damage? No one has ever been completely happy about the star system, and even less so with the Coin system, so to apply the vast differences in Infamy will likely bring the ire of many a boat who feels this is a nerf to them.

    But top on the team being treated same as a floater is not acceptable either

    Floaters are so easy to programmatically detect, they can always be treated as a special use case. I'm baffled why this has yet to be done.

    How about +/- 20 infamy for Ranked and +/-5 for Casual... And if you just wanna practice try Custom with Bots.

    what i am suggesting to have single mode hybrid version of ranked and casual . then you will have more players to balance match making as right now they are divided in 3 modes . and less infamy also work with progress of the game . as you can't just level item faster as 100 infamy which only can take 4 battles .
