    TURBOS AINT MORTARS DAMNIT I NEVER SAID THEY WERE

    MEANT THAT TURBOS WERE TOO FAST FOR MORTARS TO BE USEFUL!!

    Ah, that’s why LRM are the best! Faster projectile speed and the ridiculous range ensures the enemy won’t have enough time to react to a surprise mortar strike!

    You can't use mortars on a Defender. You could use a mortar on a Shooter or Enforcer. At the highest infamy, they aren't viable. But unless you are close to Bittersteel and Co. above 5k, then you can definitely still use them. Just make sure your loadout focuses on point damage weapons like cannons. Your 5th weapon on a Shooter could be a mortar. The meta is currently firebomb, napalm or missiles for aerial weapons.

    Again, just don't use mortar. End game, mortars are absolutely horrible due to the speed of other ships.

    Just focus on point damage weapons, maybe torps
