    Not at all, the shield won't break (and stun you) until it runs out of hp. A 1000 hp tesla shield can sometimes soak up 2-3 hits before it breaks.

    It's a training cannon. It's a remnant of the old fusing system, and gave a high fusing bonus. It has very low damage though, not sure why...
