Patch Notes v. 4.1 "Teal-time Strategy!"

@CaffeinatedChris If you can get the Dev's to give us an understanding for that decision I think it would be worth knowing. As a fixer it has the potential to be a dream match up. However from a DPS point of view, it's not a very positive move when it's impacting the damage instead of just the debuffs.

Will the pulse affect every debuff applied?

 

So the guardian is an awesome ship! But the one thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't receive credit for helping it's teammates.

So I think that the shield wall and the self defense shouldn't count, because they're mostly for yourself, like the Tesla shield. But the rebuff cleanser and the defense pulse should count towards stars and coins like healing does.
Defense pulse would be measured by the total damage that you absorbed off of your teammates.
Rebuff cleanser is a bit harder tho. It could be measured by seconds of rebuff that were taken away maybe, or total fire damage that was removed from your teammates

 

Given that using torps is really hard, I think that is a fair balance. Without splash damage, I woudn't use torp. It depends on how experienced you are with torps but torps rarely hit... do you disagree?

 

Torps can be hard to hit with, requiring a lot of skill; OR you can just load three on a Shooter, and spam them hoping to get lucky — which requires no skill, and often little-to-no aiming. Torp spamming (like other kinds of spamming) often ends up being much more powerful than it deserves to be, however, it is almost impossible to nerf it without needlessly nerfing the non-spammers.

Defence Wall ‘could’ actually have offered quite an elegant solution, as it would be a good way to block long-ranged indiscriminate spam, but would be far less likely to block aimed shots, because players who are actually aiming will purposely move closer, look for better angles, and generally avoid the wall.

 

I agree with you. I actually played with shooter once and it was unbelievable easy to spam...
but for a speeder who loads two torps, I shoot at a crowd and run-hide. Although this is not at all spamming, this technique is, I dare to say, born from the same mother.
I rarely makes an near approach because that makes me an bull's eye
So I am very ambivalent about this issue.
Without using toprs, it's very difficult to make good contributions to the win....

 

Any new perks for the teal items?
I would love to see cooldown reduction perks for the Defence Wall as it has pretty high cooldown time.

Also I would like to see the amount of damage absorbed by the new ship after battle... just like healing is shown in case of Fixers and Reapers...and include them towards overall contribution for getting stars or coins.

I think ravio must introduce another battlebay naming as battlebay pro and adding all new ships there...
none of the new ships looks pretty, nor powerful, u may have introduced all of them in new app.
we kept many hopes on upgrade, but nothing there...

*stil lagging
*now aim became too bad, lock target unlocking automatically and confusing the targets.
*new ship...? do you expect the team will always follow guardian...? if so guardian fails, the team itself self goal.
*No quests with new ships,
*No quests with new weapons.
*getting weapons from daily rewards almost 99.99% Nerf.

ipad air still crashing..

and now this as well

 

Updated, launched the game and it crashed after the loading screen
Tried again, same results
Cleared cache and relaunched the game but it still crashed
Finally, (not the best option, but I had no choice) uninstalled and reinstalled, and still the same results
I've already been facing a number of bugs before update, like constant crashing on matchmaking screen, wired glitching not related to internet connection, and connection timeout while getting back to main screen after battles every single time (this literally made me unable to go to home screen after any battle) I just kept battling non stop with the help of the next battle option, if I needed to go to main screen I'd have to close and relaunch the game each time, I've not been playing events since the last update 4.0 cause of this, almost quit the game but I convinced myself to keep playing with the hopes that everything will be fixed on the next update
And now this?
I pretty much can't play battle bay right now thanks to this new bug(crashing)
And trust me it's pretty frustrating
I'd be happy if you guys could fix this as soon as possible (cause right now am pretty pissed! I mean who wouldn't?)

Hey. The same problem, the replay of fights before the update, is thrown out of the game, but with new fights, this is not observed.

ENGINE SOUND DOMINATING...unable to hear it. very bad with earphones.

 

It would have been great to add more inventory slots when you add an additional group of items! But now you can suck more money out of people to buy more slots.... typical....

 

The yellow items look sick and dull! PLEASE ENLIGHTEN THEM!

 

Devs: thanks for adding in the Reaper specialist achievement today - and an extra thanks for counting the battles already played.

 

Hopefully after this update there will no more threads about when Rovio shuts down Battle Bay, we have had enough of this doom-mongering. Battle Bay is alife and kicking....unlike my tablet.
