Let's analyze BB. Boats are kinda slow. Weapons are quite powerful. BB seems to be a game where being in position for an attack and having good weps for assassination is encouraged.
If we look at it this way, shooters, fixers and defenders are severely handicapped, while speeders and enfos are superb for the job, since they can get into position fast.
Guys, if we look at it this way, "The fastest boats shall rule the bay" is not an incorrect sentiment. Thus, no matter what we buff or nerf, BB as it is now, cannot have equal skill ceilings.
We cannot make the shooter, defender and fixer faster, nor can we make the speeder and enforcer slower. As
@xxxBISMARCKxxx said, however, we can make tesbolts harder to land, and make the skill ceilings higher still.
The reason I say that speeders need a complete rework is that(though I'm a speeder myself) they are truly the most versatile ship on the bay. Speeders are fast, and can change positions in seconds. A speeder can come from the other side of the map, into perfect position to assassinate a shooter, in less than a minute. And that burst damage. Jeez. I'd be an idiot if I said if that wasn't OP in the slightest.
However. It's a thin line between nerf and nerf to the ground. There's F2P speeders in NM, who will be negatively affected by some nerfs. There's noobs picking up the speeder in Master 3 who will quit it if the mk4-mk5 variants are nerfed.
Buffing every other ship is going to amplify any issues said ship might have. If it doesn't though, that's great. But you'll need to buff every ship equally then(excluding the speeder, cuz that's the whole point LOL).
So, please consider this before suggesting any buffs or nerfs.
