just a random question

    So this is what happened today on global chat, someone randomly started abusing and cursing me on chill zone, i took screenshots of chat and reported him but how do i ensure that strict action is taken against him. Shouldn't i get a message in news feed section that the player i reported got banned for x no. of days ? And whats the point of report option if someone dosent get punished for his/her wrong behaviour . Also, as global chill zone is not restricted to just one language, is it wrong to use someones native language on global chat ?obviously considering its not a monologue

    As per the Fair Play Policy

    Report them, block them, and move on. Don't waste any more time thinking about them than they're worth, which is zero. :)

    No you will not hear about any action they take against the person you report, if any action is taken at all. No it is not wrong to use other languages in chat but it is bad form and usually will be met with people yelling "English tab on top!" in chat.

    He already said it all!

    Plus, getting reported by a single player wont ban the other one, Consistent reporting by lot of player or "enough" players lead to ban!
    So no reason why you should get the data of his/her ban. :p Plus, the feature of informing the player wont do much good and will just increase some more pages of code in the game.

    Well that means they can get away with anything , they can abuse the system.. i get it that i won't be able to know but something needs to be done.

    That is true but this system is in place so random people don't start getting people they dislike banned eventhough the person did nothing wrong.

    Eventually getting reported by a lot of people will get him in trouble eventually, the best option is to report and block such people.

    Just because you don't see immediate results doesn't mean nothing is happening.

    Report them. Block them. Encourage others not to feed the troll, and to do the same if the chat is upsetting or inappropriate.

    I just block all chat that is not in English.... Got me kicked from my guild 6 hours before I could get my rewards. Thanks to guild leader and Rovio for making that a possibility.

    You should be able to copy and paste their chat messages into the report with a time stamp
