Community Bonding

Most people seem fine to hang out with a group of people and call them friends when in reality none of them would step up when things go bad. In other words it is really hard to find friends who can be depended upon outside of hanging out.

I find the best way to attract casual friendships is to find a special interest group, or competitive league. Anything from a chess club to bowling league to book club to competitive rock climbing, and hundreds of others beyond that. Attend these casual meetings focusing on whatever you like to do for a hobby and a side effect is that you will start breaking the ice with strangers. Meetup.com is one way to find local groups who meet regularly on many different topics... and if you don't find what you like exactly, create your own group, schedule a meeting or event, even at a public bar/restaurant, and see who shows up. It may take months to build your own group, so I don't actually recommend it, but you'll find more people with your interests than you expect.

No need to feel lonely, because you are part of only 4% with the same personality. Just accept who you are and love yourself, that is the most important. I am glad not everybody is the same and I can usually get along with all different kinds of people. And I am not an average humanbeing either, I don't mind. Although I am more a Campaigner (ENFP-a) type according to the website, but I have friends who are INFP also. I see no problem there and thinks it makes life more interesting. And people who do see a problem are narrow minded in my opinion or are afraid of the unknown.
