Did you not watch the whole video? At the end he shows two games at random that he is using his entire and best setup on Enforcer. Nothing removed, nothing underleveled. He did this for every single game. It just happens that he doesn't have a lot of perks yet and hasn't gotten dupes to level up everything.

This is right in the devs' face at the top of the board. If they have a problem with the way Joey is playing, then they need to say something. Your incessant complaining is now just a nuisance.

 

I would bet that after every event, the Devs have an evaluation meeting. During that meeting, they would review players who had significant winning rates, and those with significant losing streaks, with the aim of understanding the reasons for those streaks.

Some players will have very high winning streaks may find themselves in a couple of categories:

• They have such a high gear score that there are very few players that they possibly could be matched against, and so have to be matched against lower players sometimes (possibly someone like American Marauder)
• Players whose skills levels are incredibly high (possibly someone like Gnu)
• Players that have inadvertently ‘lucked’ into a good loadout that suits the rules of the events.
• Players whose regular gear is OP due to the rules of the event
• Players who have successfully found a way to game the system. (These are not discovered by a screenshot of one match, they are done by reviewing results over a series of matches)

(nb: some players may find themselves in more than one category - for example if they are high skill and high gear)

The challenge for Devs is then to find a way to close the loophole which allows players to game the system, without inadvertently disadvantaging innocent players, so that future events are fairer. This is not an easy task as the rules have changed from event to event, and so what may be OP in one event may not be in the next.

But we do know that Miika has been tweaking matchmaking during events, and it is certainly far harder for a high level player to drop gear score than it was in the first few events.

So whilst it is important to make Devs aware of any OP builds, it must be done in a fair way which does not name and shame players. If you post a post-battle screenshot with the opponents name blanked out, but the battle number still available, they can see enough.

 

Mate, joey who is a victim of circumstances. He scrapped all his gear and left, and is now back to playing the game, and has had a really rough time building his ship and setup back to a little closer to what it was before. His inventory is EMPTY except for what he has on his ships, that is something I'm willing to bet on. He cannot "tank" because that is the gear he has!!!

 

What? Dude listen. Let's talk. I've taken all your messages and am going to counter them all. First off. Joey already has low HP for an enforcer, and in a "First-to-two", an opponent can score a max of 8k HP or so on his enfo build. His shooter build is weak af anyway. Also, the reason he gets 9-10 stars is that he is a low HP target fighting high HP targets. This means that the ratio of HP lost is clearly disproportionate from his opponents. When I step into my mk6 enforcer, I get 8-9 stars on the regular too!

Also, he isn't cheating. Look. His gear in terms of weps and overall builds is absolutely useless on a mk6 ship in 1v1s. Why? Simple. I for one come into battle packing all t4 epic, and t4-t5 gear on my mk6. And note that he isn't going to be fighting mk5s, he's going to be fighting mk6s with that gear if he plays his top ship. That's BS and the same as bullying. Geared mk6s would just destroy him EZ.

I saw his setup. He uses his complete setup, so I'm calling *beep* on your point there.

Again, "from your guess"? Okay look, he was using a mk4 shooter and a mk5 enforcer and utilizing as much of the slots as he could. I haven't found a single fault there, and haven't seen him manipulate gearscore at all, because he simply lacks the gear needed for manipulation.

He's earned it as far as I'm concerned. He isn't even exploiting game mechanics because he doesn't HAVE gear that is "overpowered" per se.

Okay so now you play the guild card. Really? Also, yeah, if the devs aren't patching it, I for one consider it dishonorable to cheat like this. Again, Joey isn't an exploiter at all so your argument falls flat.

He hasn't tho. And I think he can screenshot some stuff for sure.

Let's see, jury's out. But I'm sure he didn't "cheat" and your arguments so far have been an absolute pile of stuff built above a scornful first post with no evidence to back you up. I find your conduct lacking and your arguments wanting. So next time, better have evidence before you call out one of the oldest members (and memelords*cough*) of this community for something like this.
