Inventory scrolling issue

I have bought lots of Inventory slots, so I often need to scroll the Inventory. But, lots of times, items get dragged and scrolling doesn't happen. Please, fix the issue.

Another problem: When I try to hold and drag an item from bottom to top or top to bottom (when both rows aren't visible at the same time), scrolling doesn't happen automatically.

 

These aren't bugs; it's just like that, super annoying. The only way I can scroll (my inventory is almost full) is touching exactly between two items and swiping. They should add a scroll bar or something, that would help immensely.

 

How is it not a bug when "tap and hold" is supposed to move items? Think about it: You're scrolling a music playlist and instead of scrolling, music position is getting changed.

This is definitely a bug.

 

It's not a bug, to move an item you have to move it slightly horizontal first or else it will just scroll through the inventory. Once you understand how it works it's a non issue

However, it's still often an issue, for me, at least, when I want to scroll, it moves the item instead.
Apparently, my movement isn't vertical enough.

The problem isn’t with dragging items, it’s with ‘not’ dragging items when you swipe vertically to scroll. Even when you swipe dead straight, the touchscreen won’t necessarily interpret the gesture properly. This may depend on your hardware, although my hardware isn’t exactly obscure (iPhone).

It definitely needs a scroll bar.

The second point of being unable to scroll while dragging is also very frustrating.

Personally, however, I think Rovio just needs to stop being petty, and minimise the need for scrolling in the first place, by giving us a separate space for pieces and perks, and allowing us to stack duplicate items.

Just keep your pieces at the bottom so you don't have to move around items vertically, just horizontal to equip and unequip ships. Also I'm building an arsenal of epic everything, I never understood the need for such a huge inventory, do you not keep items on your 5 ships?

 

My Epic arsenal is becoming kind of Epic in itself. With so much stuff to combine, it’s pretty difficult trying to muster parts. I haven’t even finished the Epics that I have equipped yet.

I fully intend to, but at the moment it only does 1k damage. So it’s not really good enough yet.

 

Has been recommended before a few times about getting a scroll bar for it but who knows how far off that may be, if at all.

 

Scrollbar isn't necessarily required. They just need to tweak item moving algo. Make it hold and drag..

 

There are a few different quality of life enhancements that could be made to the inventory to improve it overall. Anything in general would be good to see

 

I brought this up nearly a year ago... offered many suggestions to fix this, but it has been ignored by the Devs, even with their usability suggestion campaign. It still irks me on a daily basis to pick up items when I try to scroll... once, twice, three, sometimes 4 times in a row. So many ways to fix this.
