Just got to Nightmare after 4 failed one-win-away attempts, coincidentally on the same battle with the 1000 Defender wins achievement. 12458 battles total, f2p. Viva!

On a more practical note, do I stop playing for a time now so as not to plummet in infamy and get myself out of the league in two seasons? How does my infamy work with the reset? Can you be demoted from Nightmare? Thanks!

    Congrats bro!
Yes you can get demoted from nightmare if your season highest is under 4000.

So you will officially join nightmare league at the next season reset. There are 2 scenarios
    a) your current infamy is 4000 or above by the end of the season
Your infamy will be reset to 4000 and cannot be relegated at the end of the new season
    b) your current infamy is below 4000 by end of the season (say it becomes 3900 because you lose a few games)
Your infamy remains at 3900, and you can be relegated at the end of that new season if you do not get above 4000 infamy at some point over the next 2 weeks.

Ok, thanks. So I’m not touching the iPad for 4 days, hehe. (Unless there’s an event.)
