When weapons are out of range

When your crosshair shows that it's out of range of target, why do some players still shoot? Will there be a chance to hit the enemy?

 

Of course, if you move up the button shooter it will hit the target, I think maximum 3 of range

 

I think it was playing with lucky. Sometimes at the begining i shoot just for warming up. Well, who knows?

 

And wow I should try this out! Thanks for the tip. Yea maybe it depends on the projectile speed as well, a sniper cannon could go further if aimed higher compared to say blast cannon/explosive cannon

 

If you can see the target approaching you then yes theres a good chance that even when you fire out of range you could still land a hit.
