    An 'easter egg' is pretty much just an intentional inside joke or a hidden message that hardcore followers will understand. Or in games its a secret feature or sneak peek of what is yet to come. Certain games like Overwatch, you can find 'easter eggs' that reference other games like Warcraft and Starcraft.
