What Will Removal Of Training Conflicts Produce?

    Hi,
    I’ve been taking a look through the current training trees and trying to predict what this will produce (assuming all current training appears in new trees)
    Firstly, there will be no more conflicts between similar weapons. EC won’t conflict with BC, Swift torp won’t conflict with Big torp, tape won’t conflict with box etc. Those go without saying, and so I won’t go into them.
    However there are a few other interesting conflicts which will have been resolved.
    Swift
    • no more conflict between nitro and Ob. Good for speeders and speedforcers
    • several carronade conflicts with itself are resolved
    • Carronade no longer conflicts with speeder (good for speeders)
    Isak
    • Frost launcher no longer conflicts with enforcer stats
    • Grenade conflicts with itself resolved
    Feelix
    • Everyone can have ‘repair bolts will remove stun’ meaning the Tesla bolt ability that stun blocks heals becomes redundant except for stuns on fixer. (Good for fixers, bad for yellow ships)
    Brock
    • Firebomb/shooter hp conflict resolved- good news for shooters
    • Defenders get boost as several shield/defender clashes resolved

    Sinklair
    • More damage will be done by torps to frozen ships (buff to frost)
    Dr Buzzkill
    • TS users no longer have to chose between duration or shield strength (buff to TS users)
    • Tesla bolt blocking heals becomes redundant except for stuns on fixers.
    If anyone else spots any other interesting clashes that are resolved, please feel free to detail them.

    All cannons.
    3.5 second standard cannon + 2 max trained ex cannons on beefy defender. We won't be sitting ducks while explosives reload. You could fire 4 standard cannon shots in 14.4 seconds.

    Frost Blaster + Grenade + Blast might be a cool combo. Guaranteed bullseye, and still leaves room for Double Bubble.

    I'm so happy that the training conflicts are gonna be scrapped! Now every item and ship can be utilised to its max potential.
    Wonder what new combos will be found?

    I'm more glad about defender buffs. More HP, More weapons and I just noticed that its mk5 model not the large mk6.

    Think he meant that all ships will now have the total slot points of a mk7 version available from the start
