I haven’t plaid in a while and I don’t remember well what were those silver coins. What do I used them for and when do I used them?

 

You can use them to get crates in certain events. After this event, all coins will be taken away, though another event may use coins in the future.

 

The best time to sell it would be last month, before event coins were discontinued.

Best to just keep it as a souvenir

 

And who knows, you might be able to trade it in eventually for whatever currency they use next.

 

Hmm, I wonder what would happen if you sold it now... the coins got discontinued and I'm not sure if they'll transfer over to ship coins.

It’s an event perk. As you can see in OP’s SS it redeems for battlecoins, which are now obsolete, not for gold.

OP might as well keep it for nostalgia sake now, as it’s worthless now. Unless you’re desperate for a extra inventory slot.

 

I long for the days when 1800 event coins actually meant something

 

I long for the days when events actually yielded event perks. Something the majority of the BB community could actually achieve/use.

 

Sell it now if you want the Reaper. Otherwise sell it later if you see another ship you want. You only need 200 more coins for the 2000 coin reward. Should be easy to achieve in the next few days. Probably able to get a ship up to about lvl 20 with the parts you get.

 

The current events use tokens with a hole in the middle, while the old coins did not. So they are probably different currencies.

Oops, I kept mine too for nostalgia at first, but I probably should’ve cashed it in when they removed coins, I missed out on 2leggy perks and lots of epic parts (35coin parts boxes).

Not to mention I had actually scrapped one of these for a tiny amount of gold before rudder was removed.

 

So, for those who were wondering, today I sold this thing hoping to get the coins with a hole in the middle and buy perks and ship coins from the new event but unfortunately didn’t work. So for those that have similar things just know that is better to keep it as a souvenir than to sell it :c

When I sold it is like I got the coins (there was the animation of seeing the perk and all the coins went to the top right part of the screen) but when I went to see if I could use them I had 0 coins so... A pity.

Could any dev explain if we will be able to use them in the future? Thx <3
