What exactly are AFK players?

I've been in 3 games now where players literally just sit in spot not doing a thing. At end of battle, these same players show no hits made.

A lot of times it's players intentionally losing to face easier opponents. Sometimes it's someone not paying attention to their phone. Maybe they got a phonecall or someone came and asked then a question or they got caught up in a scene from a tv show.

And then you have "freeloaders" as you see when you win battles they recieve a star, no matter effort put into it, and they will recieve a very small amount of gold and sugar, i found out as i got a phone call and entered the game in the end.

But wouldn't those mentioned at least made some attempt on making a hit? The screens above each had 3 minutes of game left and were hiding.

Wi-fi went down. This can also happen. And reconnecting take quite a whollot of time.

And yes, often that I didn't notice that the game has started – because TV were good. They (dev) should add like a chime or ring or boat claxon at the beginning of games.

 

They should kick/kill players who are idle for longer than a minute.
It's not right when we lose infamy cause of idle players.

 

I can pretty much agree on this. But think twice: does it make any difference when the server kicks them? Your team would still ended with 4 players anyway, right?

What if, after 1 minute and 3 seconds they are back on from their afk?

 

it may be resolved in alot of ways, i have joined a ongoing match a few times already, and we ended up winning most of the time.
Vote kick in-game - Only Con's are potential trolls
0 movement and/or 0 gadgets used - no reward and -infamy whatever the result are
afk timer - auto kick

 

This issue has been brought up many times...just wish devs would consider our opinion
