What do you make of these stats?

So, guys, I have been dangling in this area of 400~800 infamy for so long now, and I started to get bored.
is this normal? Idk, I find people in my matches have same stuff and same infamy, but sometimes I stumble upon players who does have weaker weapons but more than 1k infamy already.
What's more weird that I always find a pattern, I win 3 matches in a row, then I lose 3 in a row, whatever I do it's always like that with few minor exceptions, that's beside starting a match with players who have little resources up against bunch of very strong ships.

 

When I was at 600 infamy I would be really happy with items like that, I wasn't so lucky. I did manage to climb to 1900 with an mk3 defender with items that are slightly worse. So how could I keep rising with my wortless ship and items? I practiced aiming really, really well. You'd be surprised how much you can change the tides of battle if you don't miss a single shot.

The weapons I was using at the time were dual cannon or canon and sniper. So you already got the gear. If you practice aiming untill you don't miss anything anymore, you should be able to win more, even if you get retarded teams.

 

May be you have a point about not missing the shot, I have issues with shooting the explosive in long range, but still, every time I lose I manage to be the 2nd if not the 1st in damage wise, sometimes I end up making 5k of damage but still losing because team members are scattered here and there and no one killing the fixer, and I have those gears only because I was there for too long to have em, but sill no luck with getting up to 900 infamy.

Seal clubbers really messed up the game for the beginners, didn't they.
As a fellow mk3 shooter i suggest when you get stuck in a lossing streak, just close the game do something else for a few minutes,then start again and leading shots do matter alot in this game.

 

I was up to 1200 infamy having worse weapons than you by far. Regarding the aiming, that helps a lot. You are going to miss shots, just try to minimize it. Explosive cannon is slow. Be selective of when to fire what. What out for your surrounding. If you see 2 unfriends together, use the explosive cannon. Can I have your Epic sniper cannon? I just got a Rare sniper cannon 2 days ago after almost 7 weeks of playing.

Ok, let me tell you that at that level it is normal. I' ve tryied my self with an alternate account which currently is level 22 also, so i can speak from experience. I hover around 650-950 in spite of my experience (main account around 3400). Most of the problem is lack of team work and unfriends with weapons throwing lots of damage at that level. You will find your self doing most of the damage and/or killings and still loosing the match. Don't get upset by it, just do adjustments in your play style and in your gear, until you find the one that works the best for you. I play this account just for fun, some times i get obliterared and others i get to al least help the team to win the match, some times they follow my lead and other they go rambo, but it is all part of the game.
For example this match, the two ships in fleet went rambo and got killed right away, but the other 2 stayed with me and we finally won this match (i'm the one with the 5 killings):

My equipment is uncommon standard shield, rare turbo, rare firebomb, uncommon mine and rare sniper all at T1. Resources are scarce and mainly i use it for crew training, so not being able to evolve them like i will like to, but some times it is enough to win the game.
My recommendation is for you to keep practicing, leading shots, focus on not missing a single one, try to lead your team, don't let them leave you alone, and forget about gaining infamy, that will come by it self soon enough.
