Weird fps lag after the update...

    I am using a Samsung galaxy s8+, this problem happened only after the update

    New update = Awesome!
    However, every battle I have this infuriating fps lag. Just driving my boat around at the start gives me lag. When there are more graphics on screen, I lag more. This leads me to believe that it's client side (even though I'm no genius on this).

    I tried playing on half resolution, oddly I still has the same problem. Could it be the new replay aspect that's draining all the processing power? I imagine that type of thing would take up a ton.

    Sorry for the random ramblings, I just got back from trying to play with this lag.

    Any solutions? Any explanation?

    I've got the exact same problem...
    Same phone too, S8+
    I also did play on half resolution, but like you it didn't work out...
    Maybe it's a problem for samsung?

    Ya...your right...lol. I was in the moment and forgot.
    I have no clue :/ I think I will try lowering the resolution from QHD to FHD on my phone and see if that helps. I'm not to confident that it will though

    Itll prolly help. Im on a redmi note 4, waaaaay below the power of an s8, but get no lag.

    I guess the lag is currently caused by the servers.
    Why? Because the guild updates causes people to play longer and more often, and this increases the traffic load. I also guess that Rovio is already working on this and will upgrade the servers accordingly. That's why you don't see any official response regarding this in the threads for bug-reporting.
