we need achivements made for utility items like nos Oboost turbo sheild and the like

Sooo Rovio, one great idea is have various scaled achievements like the weapon systems have for gaining a rarity upgrade on items that help battle by effective utility rather than damage dealt. These items specifically in the yellow and blue categories at the moment are near impossible for your free to play players to obtain with out the RNG hell and a lot of praying (if that's your thing).
yes rares and maaaaby epics are obtainable with insane amounts of diligence (epics mostly) @ 3k pearls that's a lot of vid watching ... per item ... -.-
so forget consistent tiering there.
here's some examples on how you might be able to fairly dispense them as achievement quests on the star scale you have set up .
nos, wave skipping happens some in speeders but you don't wana slant it to hard speeder but maybe effective usage near enemies or friendlies if on fixer mechanics? you already moniter performance of player battles and record them , that wouldn't be to much ( I hear the devs screaming you code it lol )
Oboost, simple distance traveled would work quite well
turbo id put this on a calendar vs use and distant tiles traveled basis because its well used in the community
could come at high cost of distance actively used because their sooo common place and a staple to almost every build , its understandable you don't wana program creep to where everyone has a L set of the 3 because .. quest its ok to make'm work for it that way imo. id do it just to bring back speeder into meta its also understandable that you don't wana free give away the farm either games are a business of pleasure and fun but reasonably a free player SHOULD have POTENTIAL access to the full array of items a "whale" might same for shields (soak that damage isn't the way to go and I haven't yet a fair balanced idea for them yet ) I'm fully open to suggestions here from the community in a positive adult like light of the matter , tell me what you guys think please .

So for turbo you are saying that it will be based off of how many times you used it per month? And if so then I wanna add on to that, but answer this question for me—What inventives would be giving for doing x amount of turbo per month or for however long?

I totally agree with the idea of overboost and nitro. I even said a long time ago that guild quests should contain quests for all green items and for yellow. For yellow items it would be like...travel this many meters with overboost or nitro. Freeze enemies for this many seconds. Use Tesla shield this long. Or, stun enemies this long. However, because guild quests have become more broader, I really don’t think that would happen.

But maybe for personal quests, though.

Also, you could make a guild quest called travel this many meters, use overboost, nitro, and turbo to increase progress, depends on how easy that is.

But tell me what I would be getting! Is it gold or sugar? I wanna help you.

 

well , personally I'm a collector of the finer gear in the bay and love to tinker , so being an achievement for those items would give a fair chance to all players (esp. the newest players) a chance to get a running start to the already various & growing amounts of utility used in the bay.
yes the shop is there always and I encourage players to support the battle bay team in any way possible, however tiering those finer items to even tier2 can mean weeks or months (or worse) of farming and ad watching if your ftp for respectable gear and ability to keep up in a fight and contribute to the cause.
specifically above infamy lvls of 5-800+ if you don't pack a pretty decent kit of utility with the awesome weapon you might own its not doing you any good because of players potential defenses and hp levels with their own utility and tricks. you just end up cycling games with the next match button and losing time, hard effort, and potentially all your days infamy even if you yourself are playing super well and safe . ( I'm there T.T) most fleets are still pug-ish and severally hinder a players true ability (that's another topic tho)

There's some things I wana point out with this. While yes I bring this topic up to the table out of personal need and that its a great subject / suggestion , it SHOULD IN NO WAY EVER be a just GIVE ME now instant gratification not only for balance but preserving the feel of the game and current intended meta w/e that meta is at the time. make'm work for it still is the idea/ goal.
In ADDITION to that YESH!!; personal quests for them would be great, the cc in this game is awesome & strong as well if correctly used , its the advantage that a war like NSMOBA needs to be still balanced and playable. being fairly unfair if u will, is a TOUGH job for rovios' BB team. id split different items for personals with varied rewards. maby even raaaarly throw in a pearl reward for hard personal quests like 25-50 for X (kind of insane completion amount, like an epic challenge quest) objective and if it actually procs GRATS!
id love the help, you seem well established in the community here and extremely knowlagable
its appreciated oh and keep the model simple like cc is usage based , movement is distance , I'm reluctant to ask for one on shields cause ppl will just suicide to get it , might work if its win and live based, slant it to you hafto try no auto float ... ya know?

 

Cool I completely agree with you on this one. Though I don’t know what it is like at 500-800+ infamy, it’s surprisingly the same at my infamy of 3500. So I’m with you all the way.

 

id say at this point its about bump this thread and community awareness till rovio kinda listens somehow , also id like to say lets find a fair balance for upper tier speeder those lil guys save lives sometimes, maby an extra weapon slot with just 1 power point added? at least the feel of disadvantage is consistant at your inf lvl aswell , that's a good sign they made a great game , lets keep it up!
also since your n god tier inf. how does that system officially score , please be extremely detailed, I don't seem to progress how I should at ALL I win most fights and kill a lot of solo kilss (atleast 3 kills a game not all solo)but I'm stuck in bronze elo hell help me better get a grip on this issue of mine please harpo , I'm so sick of pug

 

Speeder needs an hp boost, another weapon slot would be too overpowered because they’d be faster enforcers. @The Grim Repair
