VIP Chat

I've been playing a while now, and have built great relationships with many players, a lot of which have VIP memberships. However, I've noticed many have never used VIP chat. After asking around as to why this is, it's become quite clear that most don't want to deal with the bullying and aggressive attitude that seems to be acceptable there. After making my own observations over the past few months, I can see why many, including myself, don't wish to participate in VIP chat, which is a shame as it could be a valuable resource if used correctly. How is it that people with such disgusting attitudes towards others avoid suspensions, or better yet, be banned from chat rooms? Our guild has a very positive nature so we keep to ourselves, but it's a shame that many feel intimidated or just cant be bothered with the toxic environment in VIP chat. From my understanding of the rules, this kind of behaviour isn't supposed to be tolerated but somehow the same people spend endless hours badmouthing, degrading and threatening other players. I witnessed 2 players a few days ago arranging a fight in a park over a dispute that started in VIP chat. Please game devs, I'm sure it's not hard for you guys to clean out those that display such bad sportsmanship so that others can enjoy our great game

The vip chat is way better than the normal one... I find it useless tho. I don’t know how a “vip chat” can be considered a desirable feature for which you would want to pay.

It won’t.

I’ve never bought VIP chat because I am a f2p player. Personally I felt like I was missing out on all of the fun because that where all the cool people are, and I’m not invited. On the other hand, after reading this post, I am glad that I don’t. Because of VIP chat is worse than regular globe chat, than I’m glad I’m staying out of it.

 

Just because vip is “high brow” compared to the regular chat, doesn’t mean that it’s not garbage as well. The only difference that I can see is that VIP chat is dominated by high infamy jerks, bullies, arrogant know-it-alls who feel insulted by the presence of a lower infamy player. I learn nothing about the game in any of the chats except for my own guild chat. I took VIP mostly to avoid the commercials.

 

I'm sure if it were policed properly you'd attract a much broader, mature, & intellectual type of VIP chat users. i only bring this up here as over the last few days I've seen the same player, who's been suspended before under a different name, verbally abusing others for hours on end. Anyways, just echoing the thoughts of myself and many others

tbh, I bought VIP membership to skip the ads and sped up training time, I think it's great value just for those alone!

I agree. That’s why my friend did it. And to work on three guild quests at a time. It’s just sad that VIP membership has to be ruined by bad mouthers.
