Vertical aiming is not helpful

    Love everyting about the new update, except for one thing.

    The aiming change (vertical adjustment "help") is not working at all, atleast not if its meant to help players hit their targets. If the intend was a pseudo fixer buff, by making less shots hit, then it works though.

    Its painful when I play fixer, but downright hopeless on my speeder. If there are waves and you are close to more than 1 enemy then the ''aim' is jumping all over the place. Its horrendous on maps with huge waves, i.e. subzero.

    Can we please make this optional, or at the very least undergo some testing?

    Does anyone actually enjoy this change? And if so, what boat and weapons do you find it helpful with?

    I don't mind it, as it has helped me on one or two occasions, but when an unfriend crests a wave, you have to aim manually.
    It's okay if you keep an eye on where your auto-aim is leading.

    Vertical aiming will take some time getting used to. More than once I shot my cannon over an unfriend and when you are a speeder every shot counts.
    It will help some players to actually land shots on speeders running around. Still i don't hate it cos when you are at a distance from the target it does help landing shots easier which means less time per shot and more time on the move.

    Agree with OP it should be an optional setting like sticky targets and rotate camera with ship so many of us who don't like it can opt not to use it. But to say it's not helpful is a little harsh. Every effort on the devs part should be appreciated as they are trying to make this game better for us.

    I have been using sticky targets. Jumping of turret which magnified after update has been an issue before it too... I hope they make auto-aim more reliable

    And vertical aiming is something i have gotten used to and am liking it, i think it benefits my railgun aim primarily.. Not a huge deal though

    i would like vertical aiming made optional and yet improving auto aim make it more reliable with or without it. .
