Torpedo and Homing Torpedo and Dual Torepdo

    People have been complaining about my cannon idea, which was to make it reload longer like a swift torp.

    So I don’t wanna lose that fight by making this post.

    Regular torpedo.

    Reload 5.6 (cannon)

    Damage, (leggy) 200-400 about sniper

    Torpedo speed, 4, radius, 2.5

    1 slot red item


    Homing torpedo - introducing a new concept: homing, the torpedo fires upon the closest ship, but it’ll try to hit ships through blocks, meaning that cover is key.

    Reload 14.4 (xcannon)

    Damage, (leggy) 700 (swift)

    Speed, 2.5 (less than big torp), radius, 3

    1 slot item


    Dual torps

    Reload 11.1 (blast)

    Damage, 500 (blast)

    Speed, 3-4 (slightly less than swift), radius, 2

    2 slot item

    Btw these are BASE STATS, meaning, no trains are on, and no perks are.

    When / how to use them:
    std torp:
    use it as a cannon, when the waves are high, does more than a cannon, except, it takes more skill

    op combo:
    xcannon + torp

    homing torp:
    use it as a big torp, except you dont have to lead you shots, you just aim WAY ahead of them and itll hit

    op combo:
    heavy hitter + homing

    dual torps:
    good for trapping enemies within 2 torps, and against a wall, it deals 2X dmg

    op combo:
    cannon + this

    So if I understand correctly you want to take the most overpowered, in my opinion, (with the excuse for this overpowerement the hardship of aiming) guns in the game and make them self targeting?
    Then all skill goes away on vacation, everybody equips lots of homing torps, and all sit tight behind cover, in a logical distance from it because we all know what you get by standing ever remotely close to a torpedo hit point and finally the game is dead.
