Too many sugar quests.

As I have noticed there is a significantly bigger chance to get a sugar for quest than gold. Many times even after refreshing quest which has sugar as a reward I get one more sugar quest! It became annoying to be honest because if u don't speed up crew training with pearls ur sugar is at MAX capacity 50% of time unlike gold. As for me, I have sugar MAX and a couple of completed sugar quests 50% of the time I play...
Just to make the situation clear can anybody tell me is it just a veeery bad luck of mine or Rovio made a sugar quest chance much more higher than a gold one to force people buying more pearls for shop items/crew training skip?

I'm the same bud, all sugar quests with the occasional gold quest that I'm forced to reroll because I don't play fixer. Luckily for me though, I'm at a state where I need all the sugar I can get so it could be the Battle Bay gods playing with our poor ships. Oh and all available gold quests that isn't fixer related give so little gold.

 

i also get more sugar quests than gold quests but i dont mind it ... my beef is the sugar storage is so painfully limited. at least let us BUY some additional space for sugar (just like we can buy additional space for items) so our rewards from battle dont go to waste as sugar storage is so painfully lacking.

 

side note - don't equip anything on the boats you're not using so that you won't get a quest for those boats... if you're storing items on unused boats, expect random quests to include those boats.

 

Even if u have an item in your inventory there is a chance to get a quest for it.

 

I was in the same boat for a while - now I'm getting all gold quests and begging for sugar! It's all part of the slow grind & the meta-game, I guess.

A sugar technique would be to always have some items in reserve for levelling up so you can use the sugar. In the past I've tended to scrap all items I'm not actively using but now I've got a few on the boil.

 

It might be same but that's not fair. Whoever is in charge here, he/she should really think about us and give more gold. 1 sugar must be equal to 5 golds in this game. It should be totally 5x more rewards. Look at the shop. 5 epic part is like 88k gold and 1 upgrade wants like around 50 epic parts and that's only if you are at the begining tiers.
My infamy is around 2000 and my items suck. I only win games with my gameplay, not much help from my items cz I can't upgrade. Also finding the same item to upgrade is the worst. Just sell it already. It's sooo hard to get 2.000.000 golds anyway. We can't really make a tier 3 rare.
Idk man. Whoever is in charge, should show some respect to the time and effort players spend. There must be a balance between Pay2Win and Play2Win. Like nightmare league should get at least 300%

 

The issue is more a matter of gold being painfully limited -- But yes, being able to pick if you prefer gold or sugar quests from a reroll would help slightly.

Why does evolve have to drain half a million gold etc?

 

There does seem to be a bias towards sugar, but with reroll I'm getting plenty of gold quests... the system is fine in my opinion. The only thing that would be nice is if the sugar cap was a little higher, across all levels.

I agree sugar is too plentiful. Or rather gold isn't plentiful enough. I'd really like to see a conversion system in place. Something really simple like if you are maxed out on one resource your gains in that resource are automatically converted to the other at a 2/3 ratio or something. Instead of a 9k sugar gain you get 6k gold gain if you are maxed in sugar. Something like that would be great. Probably not going to happen but it's very frustrating how much more gold is needed for everything. Another option is let us buy shop items with sugar instead of gold if we want. We can spend 50k gold on an item or material or 25k sugar. Give us the option

 

based on my experience, as long as you don't equip it on a boat, you won't get a quest for it

 

Damn I must have gotten lucky with duplicates then, cuz I have gotten 3 tier 3 rares.

 

Same --- I was getting quests for my lvl 1 epics, then I unequipped them & I no longer get quests for them.

 

No! my shooter was not equiped at all but I got a shooter quest. I had only 1 epic sniper cannon lvl 10. I just put it and tried to end the quest because it was gonna give 88k golds. I can't reroll a 88k gold quest really. There is a big chance it will give me a shitty 30k sugar. I was at 1900 infamy. At the end of the quest I was 1600.

Read the part you quoted again please -- It's about weapon quests, not boat quests.

Was the Sniper Rifle in your inventory or equipped to a boat when you got the quest? (I have never recieved a quest for a weapon that wasn't equipped).

I'm not sure what the boat logic is although I suspect mk level matters as I only get quests for my mk5 Fixer & mk4 Speeder.

 

I like trains too!

 

As I already told you - I did get quests multiple times for weapons in my inventory that I didn't equip even once.

 

Maybe its a combo of favourite ship and weapons? Dunno

 

It's just a quest for an item in your inventory.
