    There was a new update today?
    If true this must be minor bug fixes, as 2.8 was the last major update to go out.

    Yeah I noticed some minor changes. At least the button for leaving the battle after dying is slightly different and so is the battle results screen.

    Yes it was an update today without any announcements and explanation of its content.

    What do you mean that 2.8 was the last major update.. We won't see any big updates in the future?

    No didnt mean that at all :)
    Every game has major updates where they introduce new features, mechanics, game modes, weapons etc.
    This was 2.8 which went out a couple of weeks ago.

    In between major updates, tweaks are made and minor bug fixes are ironed out, which is what I think the update is you noticed today.
