What are you guys doing about these spammers? (Besides deleting and user banning). Because it feels like you are cutting the branches off the tree instead of cutting down the tree. Can't you guys IP ban these people or their emails? (Or are you already doing it?) I just wanna hear ehat you guys are doing to fight this epidemic.

I agree! It's quite a nuisance trying to read through the forums and seeing nothing but spams throughout the whole page. But I feel like the devs have got this under control at least for now

They are good at removing the posts and the user... but they keep coming back...

They told someone once about something like this, but I think this question is a bit different.

Yeah that's true. But, I just realized, if the devs DO ban the user, they can always make other accounts and do it again. So really I don't know how the devs will fix this actually. :/

There's nothing that can be done. They can be IP banned and just change IPs. No one can stop them. But moderators will ban them and delete their posts as they come.

Don't know if this can be done, but just put a limit on how many forum posts you can make in a short span of time to prevent spamming?

Haha. I thought you meant about how many threads you can create. There should be a limit. 1 per hour so the spammer couldn't make 50 threads

    Hi all...
Those are autoposting, they dont even logint o site, its all auto post...they use proxy. so if you ban ip, legit users may suffer. so nothing to do with that.
Only the way is , need to keep option of human verification to post a new thread.
thats all what you can do so far to stop spammers.
    -regards

Good idea! Maybe they could insert a small CAPTCHA or something like that before every post
