This is the special formula for the guild leader board!

If you were to add up all the member's infamy in any guild it would not add up to their "Guild Infamy". Why? Well there's a special way its counted

Recently a staff member happened to release the official formula on how the best guilds in the world are ranked! Today I explain how it works as far as I know
Credit goes to CPT. BK for mentioning this formula to me and taking the time to break is down so we can understand it. And also to the dev's who let us know
The formula: 0.95^(p -1) x Player infamy (where "p" is the rank of the player in the guild)

it might seem confusing, but let me give as example. The following is a possible guild list:
Name | Infamy
1. Player1 | 1000
2. Player2 | 800
3. Player3 | 700
4. Player4 | 500
5. Player5 | 200
let's plug "Player2's" information into the formula:
1. 0.95^(2-1) x 800
2. 0.95^(1) x 800
3. 0.95 x 800
4. 760 is this players final infamy count for his guild
Do the same process for each member in the guild and you will have your final Guild Infamy!
1000 + 760 + 632 + 429 + 163 = 2984 is the actual "Guild Infamy" for this guild

The higher in the guild a player is, the more important their infamy is to their guild!
100% of the first ranked player's infamy is calculated, 95% of the 2nd ranked, 90.25% of the 3rd, etc. Only 29.2% of the 25th player is counted. The following is the % of all ranks in the guild:
1. 100%
2. 95%
3. 90.25%
4. 85.74%
5. 81.45%
6. 77.38%
7. 73.51%
8. 69.83%
9. 66.34%
10. 63.02%
11. 59.87%
12. 56.88%
13. 54.07%
14. 51.33%
15. 48.77%
16. 46.33%
17. 44.01%
18. 41.81%
19. 39.72%
20. 37.74%
21. 35.85%
22. 34.06%
23. 32.35%
24. 30.73%
25. 29.20%

Does this also apply if the guild doesn't have 25 players in it?

 

Yes it does, although you can only see he formula in play with the top 30 guilds. Anything below that isn't shown on the leaderboard

I would assume this is done to give smaller guilds a fair rating chance against the ones just full of bodies? It might also be an indicator of how they will match up full fleet battles when the time comes.

 

Yes that's a possibility. Me and CPT. BK also thought it might encourage recruiting the odd low level player to teach them. As the farther down on the list, the least they effect the overall total anyway

 

I assumed most people wouldn't get it or wouldn't care to. It's not as appealing as putting LEGENDARY into the title
