This ain’t working. Fights need to be by gear score

I’m so tired of fighting by infamy or I the special events by high lvl players that use one of their low lvl boat with their high lvl weapons. Somethings is broke and needs fixing. Fight need 2 be by gear score. Seems to me like the only way to make things equal

 

Forget it, dev wont fix or change.. no matter what we ask..

 

Believe me, only by gear score it'd be worst because a player lvl 50 would have way better weapons than you have, with the same gear score, because of the crew training. Devs are working on it, as you can see on those threads where players who lowered their gearscore are having trouble on their battles.

 

matchmaking in events has improved a lot and we NM players cannot longer "abuse" from newbies by playing with a lower GS but OP weapons

 

Gear Score should take training in account just like it takes Perks into account. It's an unfortunate omission. Not just "Captain Level 33" but the skills specific to the item/boat at hand. In weapons it is already used to come up with DPS... the number is there, just waiting to be used.

Finally i got 900 coins but Matchmaking sucks as I have 8500 gear score and mk6 fixer being matched with 11 to 12k mk7 giants which is totally inappropriate. it's totally totally inappropriate as their captains are all trained and and weapons are maxed out. I hope rovio will fix this TDM Match making . Sometimes I too have a stronger team and I win but it's not worth it. It ruins the gameplay and its annoying.

 

They never bothered to even look into this matter even though people complained million times.

That is my experience exactly. To say it's difficult to go against players with 4000 Gear Score higher is an understatement. I hesitate to call it Seal Clubbing because I'm far from being able to get one-shot but I frequently feel helpless.

 

I'm mk5 n get match vs 2 mk7 that have lower infamy than mine. What r u bitchin about?

 

At least you can do damage I’m a low mk3 with lvl 20 rare weapons. What are you bitching about??!

who is even talking about infamy matches.. it's TDM. it is all about gear score.. Get some knowledge first nd thn rise up. kid.

 

This is not actually true. Gear Score will get you a different set of 10 players, but side balancing is more about Infamy, and side balancing is all that actually matters. In effect that's a confirmation of the original topic...Gear Score needs to be the primary in the balancing algorithm.

 

It’s been nearly a month now with me gaming against 1.6 gear score and 2x infamy. So something is way wrong on their backend.
