They should color mines.

Anyone else ever have the problem of discerning your friends mines from your unfriends mines? I can't tell the difference and end up either avoiding everything, or blowing them up. Can they color your friends mines differently? Maybe green or something? Maybe red? Leave unfriends as blue as if you changed them to something else it would make them easier to see and therefore nerf them. Anyone else think it would be nice?

If they did, it would make mines completely useless. They aren't hard to avoid as is, But if they colored them differently, they would effectively just be a zoning tool... Which they primarily are now unless you're willing to risk massive damage.

The best i could see is making only your team's visible... But invisible enemy mines might be a bit OP

You misunderstood my post, I said change the color of your teams mines to red (for example) and leave the enemy teams mines ALONE

No, i got that... But if you could tell them apart, they'd be useless. They aren't hard to avoid.

    So, you misunderstood my post

I'm not saying it's great, but again, if you could tell that the mine you were coming up on was the enemy's, would you ever hit it? Be honest... Likely not. It would make it useless for everything except zoning.

Which is why i said MAYBE if they completely remove the ability to see the enemy mine... Then if you see it, it's friendly and you could use knowledge of its location to lure enemies... But it could also be done to you. But right now, the fact that you can't tell whether it's friendly or enemy is the only thing that makes it useful to equip.

I think they are fine for reasons already stated above. They also add a layer of complexity when keeping track of where they are in battle to lure enemies to them, avoid the enemies', etc. which I find interesting.

I think it adds to the suspense of not knowing which is which, just stay clear of mines and you'll be fine lol

If players can communicate such detailed things I am ok with how it is atm. However, we don't even know if our teammates have mine or not and there is no way to let each other know where they put their mines at..... Tbh, I think uni colored mine right now doesn't add any layer of complexity ..just randomness perhaps.... and sometimes they are hidden underwater from big waves which makes it even harder to deal with. If mines are colored they will be still deadly and useful in many situations such as blocking off narrow tunnel and hidden mines around corners

Well, mines are mines. If you saw a mine, would you step on it? No... But if you knew which were the enemies', would you step on it? No.. The concept is if they changed the colour this would nerf mines too much. But, if they made em invisible, obviously it would buff them a bit too much... So, if there is a mine, basically advoid it, or think about the enemy tem's positioning and infer if it was even possible for them to plant that mine.. i'm sure this wasn't much help lol o_O

I agree with jeongminh seo, we should be able to see our team's weapons at the start of the game, or have an extra screen where could see their health, weapons, stats, etc. This would avoid all the mine confusion.
