The Netcode for the game needs to be reviewed

Really not sure who is writing the network code for the game, but saying that it sucks is an understatement.
    • How can I see a loading screen for several seconds, then nothing happens as the spinning clock in the bottom right stops. End up force closing the app and re-loading, only to find out the match already started with several of the team I'm on already sunk?
    • The skipping, where another player is on my left in one frame, only to be skipping to the right and end up on my right side a frame later?
    • The game loads the level screen, restarts itself back to the logo screen, then starts to load the level, and the match has already started?
Whatever changes you folks did to the network code and client-server handshake needs to be reversed. Gameplay is now worse that it was last week. And whoever is writing the netcode. Fire them. Crappy stuff. I've personally written better code, judging by the results, in my assembly class. Half tempted to fire up wireshark, just to see all of the crap-packets and missing ACKs + handshakes that are going on.

Yes, it's frustrating. It's nearly enough to delete the game. It's definitely not an effort worthy of the Rovio brand.

They really need to start fixing the connection issues.

I think the personal attacks on whoever wrote it is too far. They didn't deliberately make it worse. I've never had any issues either so I can't say I agree with you there either
