The influence of INFAMY

    Hi guys

    Have you ever frustrated because of low infamy?
    Does infamy really affect our concentration of playing this game ? Cause every match I lost, I am so tired to climb back. This is ridiculous cause I cannot understand what the hell is going here.

    I love this game so much. But sometimes, it really annoys when I lost. I accept the lost, but can you guys give me some advices to get rid of Infamy. I cannot get it out of my head. Everytime I lost infamy, I become angry. Does infamy really mean something to all of you, does infamy reflect your ability , does infamy judge how good/bad you are.......????

    No.Its your skill that matters.We all get frustrated when we lose 5 or 6 consecutive matches.Infamy is just a trophy.Playing is really fun.:cool::cool::cool:

    You spend money in this game or playing for about 2.5 years to get 4000 infamy ? What will you do when you meet dumbass allies ?

    Infamy is a measure of your skill AND your gear AND your ability to work as a team. Sometimes you can get carried to an infamy level higher than your true level, in which case you’re more likely to go on a losing streak, and sometimes you have bad games and fall below your true infamy and have winning streaks.

    Ultimately, unless you’re a high end nightmare player, everyone will lose about half the time. You’ve just got to accept that or you will drive yourself mad.

    If you find yourself on losing streaks, the best thing to do is take a quick break from the game. Often when you’re on losing streaks, you become impatient and so taking a break helps stop the rot.

    This game is maddening, but I love it.

    Played long enough now to know that there's big peaks and even bigger troughs, but if you stick at it and keep upgrading then you'll head in the right direction overall.

    Don't worry, your infamy is pretty good for your ship level and items :) And no matter how good/bad you are there will always be losing streaks. For example I just dropped below 2700 for the first time in weeks and cannot for the life of me get back to 3000.

    I get bad teammates almost every match, everybody does.. Sometimes I'm the bad teammate though so it's okay.

    I never really cared about infamy. My joy in this game comes from slowly building my gear and infamy has very little to do with that. Season rewards, for example, aren't that significant even in nightmare league.

    I have been in 4k with my speeder before but then I switched to shooter and been stuck at 3,4k-3,8k ever since. Couldn't care less tho, because I kinda enjoy shooter gameplay more. It's nice to have so much more versatility and ability to use different weapons as I wish (speeders are pretty much limited to one single setup).

    My speeder has all sorts of setups, interchangeable yellows and reds for days.

    I still use tier 5 rares and tier 3/4 epics so getting to 5K is probably not possible. I went up to 4400 once just because we took a break from rivalry that week. I realized then that it is pointless since I am going to reset anyway. Plus I have to use the best setup for my speeder just to get there. I can't do that when the next rivalry starts. I just try to stay around 3700 to 4K now.

    Some people say that staying in Ace I has better rewards because of the epic pieces/parts (until you max out T5 epics)

    You get 5 epic pieces + parts in nightmare league, along with a leggo piece + parts. That's the minimum reward.

    I'm finally starting to discover the charm of not caring about infamy. Until now, I was constantly scared of going 800 infamy below my all time best. But now, with the same caliber of weapons as those used by whales, and my mk6 main ships, I can relax, and smell the roses.
