Tesla Shield

Hi

Does anyone know if exccess damage done to the tesla shiled is applied to your ship?

I.e I have a 1000 hp shield, get hit for 1500 with blast cannon so i lose my shield and take 500 dmg
Or
It simply eats the shield and the damage is lost.

Thanks. And that is very cool. Cant wait to get to mk6 to try it out. I just cant find a build at mk5 that gives me everything I need... bolt and OB just too important imo

 

I'm not sure but I think you only get 3 slot points for yellows, even in mk6 enforcer

 

You get three places you can put yellow items in, but i think those items' slot point total can get to 5

Yeah, it's either 5 or 4 bc i know a mk5 enforcer can weild 2 tesla shields, don't take my word as fact tho...

Imagine all the stuff you can do with mk6 enforcer, that's op man.

 

Ehhh, enforcer is a very complex partner, you can't just swap to enforcer and be good, some people can never be good at enforcer... just try it for a few weeks

 

Enforcer was one of my favorite ships to play with at the start, I switched to shooter, defender and speeder cause they were easy to play with, only reason I didn't play enforcer too was cause playing 3 ships was tough enough.

I know I won't be as good at enforcer as I used to but I'm confident that I can get there with enough practice.

Mk 6 speeder is 4 points and 3 slots.

 

Dual Tesla shield were a thing before the Tesla nerf. Freaking hard to kill. I think some still do it.

 

Completely blocks the attack. And also, if you don't know it yet, you can block mortars with Tesla Shield.

Does that mean the hp on a Tesla shield is useless?

 

Not at all, the shield won't break (and stun you) until it runs out of hp. A 1000 hp tesla shield can sometimes soak up 2-3 hits before it breaks.

 

I doing great with enforcer. Switch to enforcer like 1 month.

 

No what I meant is that if you have a 200hp Tesla shield and I get hit by a 500 damage blast cannon, does my shield just break and stun me without dealing the leftover 200 damage?
If so, why would you upgrade a Tesla shield for more hitpoints if the leftover damage doesn't do anything?
