Teammate Induced Consequences for Floaters

    A very simple yet effective way to deal with floaters would be to tie consequences to the teammate reporting function. For example:

    More than three teammates report Player A as floating, soft ban for 5min. Time of ban increases with the number of games reported. Would have to be some kind of decay on the old games so they don't represent an absolute threshold.

    Could also develop a reprioritized queue for players who have a high float : game ratio. For example, it could take longer while they are considered "floaters" to get into a game, and when they do it prioritizes placing them with other floaters.

    It just feels like something more has to be done about floating. AFK is a dreaded aspect of any multiplayer online game as it ruins it for other players. Any other ideas of how to best handle this issue?
