Team Match ups

How are battle teams chosen? Sometimes they are pretty evenly matched, but most times they are very lopsided and my team gets crushed.

And infamy.

What happens is, when you click battle then devs take note of your name with nine others then choose 5 from it. Those 5 are your opponents and rest of the names are your teammates. Among the discarded 5 there exist seal clubbers, floaters and crazy suicidal speeders.

 

Yes, but most times one or the other teams have more infamy. It is not divided equally, therefore it is already determined the team with the most infamy wins. And we all know some players lose on purpose to lower infamy so they can demolish theother team.

 

Lol that's about right! But using infamy alone creates mismatched teams, one team having an edge and therefore usually wins.

Sometimes it seems infamy isn't the only thing in the formula as matches like these happen...

The infamy difference is almost 1000 between teams! No wonder we lost... that's basically 200 extra infamy per person. My question is why don't they swap one of their higher players for one of our lower? Matchmaking still could use some work I suppose

 

Whenever I get in a match like that I'd actually get pretty salty and frustrated. Kinda funny since these kind of matches always happen when I need to win just 1 more match for a new pr. So imagine the amount of salt everytime I get a bs matchup like that.

 

Yes that's what I'm talking about. There needs to be more than just infamy involved in the equation.

 

No, no matter how good you are, if your other members are not as good you usually lose. Sometimes it's easy getting infamy; for me it depends on what time I get on to play. A lot depends on who is on at the time, But they still don't match infamy very well. Tonight I was matched with a team where the last 2players had decisively more infamy than my teams last 2 players. Why didn't they switch two of them? That happens all the time. The level of weapons is a big factor also. When I had all common I was put in matches with similar infamy, but the unfriends had rare and epic. Two hits and I was dead. To me thatis not a fair match, and this happens way too often.
