Well now that they fixed the regular “normal “ 5 vs 5 battle can someone tell me why they screwed up tdmt ???, on average I win 1 on about 6 or 7 tdmt cause of a super high lvl player that crushes all of us cause of his high weapons. Why rovio whyyyyyyyy???

I found this tdm actually much more balanced than the previous ones.

I completely agree. I thought the matches tended to be very even. I switched between mk4 shooter and mk5 defender, and I was always matched with mk4's or mk5's, respectively. I ground out about 600 coins on the first day. I had some great fleet partners though. @SeaNavy hit me up

What's your player tag? I don't have you on my friends list, I have like half the people on forums because I happen to see then in battle or chillzone chat, but I don't have you.

Also, what's your infamy? My guildmate and I were trying to fleet up today and realized that we we're over 800 infamy apart. Let's not let that happen ;)

While it's definitely improved in this event, there's still a 25% variance in Gear Score in matches. In my last match it was 50%, but that was an aberration.

My last match we got rolled hard... I'm GS 8600, and 3 others were 8500, and a GS 9940 Fixer. The opponents gun boats were 9500, 9500, 8800 and 6800 with a 9140 Fixer. The Gear Score balances out by sides (44111 vs 43872), but this is a match of guns... 3 of their gun boats outmatched every gun boat on our side (and the 6800 was a Shooter), so in the end it wasn't actually balanced well. A Nightmare Fixer has a hard time making up for higher level guns on the other side.

Common sense expects Gear Score matchmaking to only include players in a tight GS range into a match in the first place, not whatever GS adds up across the 5 players because there's so many OP configurations. I don't really understand why Rovio Devs are still lost with matchmaking, but at least it's better than before.

My infamy is currently 1500 but I'm more of a 1700-1800 player. I'm at an infamy drop right now. My ID is #MSYZQYLS

Out of interest are you mk5

I'm mk5 at 2.3-2.4k infamy and around 6.7k, which I can lower if it's too high.

I enjoyed this event, most battles were only 2-3 kills apart at the end so it did actually feel quite balanced. As an enfo main though, I preferred the 1v1 and 2v2 events. But this one was hella fun!
