Tape Blaster

When repair bolt first came out it was cool. The animation is so damn similar to tesla bolt that its gotten old.

Can we change bolt or get a new item that shoots exactly like frost blaster? It would make it a lot more interesting to time hit and use.

If its a new item can we call it Repair Blaster?

I'll give some random ideas

CD: Same as bolt times
Power: Single target DOT heal like tape
Range: Infinite
Additional effects:
Crew talents can be same as bolt or some new stuff.

 

The less chance of getting tape, the better!

 

How about a repair/carronade several projectiles with a spread heal.

 

I don't really get how that would work. I can see a healing firebomb or healing big torpedo though LOL

The spread or angle could be closer to tri-torp but often healers stay behind the lines if they had friends at a certain degree apart (close range)...blam some amount of healing to both hit by the spread. I also thought of another one......
Missile launching repair - when fired arcs like a missile launcher but explodes in mid-air....raining healing effect down over specified radius. (Atomic-healing)

 

Repair bolt is basically healing torpedo without splash,shoots thro waves.

 

I would love some self healing items. Someone has already mentioned this idea. A reverse pulse which heals other ships by 50% and self heals by 100%.
No need to add other crew talents it will be same as pulse just action is reversed.

 

Nothing wrong, But You got duct tape for that as a fixer, and many use it. Yeah it can't be used by others, but still that plus repair pulse makes a good combo for self heal and I have seen many people use both as combo.

 

Repair mist. Create a fog-like entity around your ship that repairs you for 100% inside and 50% to nearby ships. 1 slot item. Not as powerful as repair pulse or tape.

 

Repair flair: I know what you're thinking and you're right.
You stick it to your teammates when they about to go into the danger zone. Or just stick it on whoever's leading the charge.

 

That is one hell of an idea repair flare counterpart of flare gun.
Let it allow 30% buff the bandage heals like flare reduces repairs flare increases.

Turn fixers into some kind of antimatter ship, all their items do the opposite. Then we don't have to worry about fixer specific items. And they get no self heal except from reverse napalm or if they can run under their own mortar/grenade shots.
