Syncing from iOS to Android

During one of the updates a year or so back, my 2nd generation iPad was no longer capable of handling the game. I've only recently come across a new mobile device and am now trying to sync my old account. I followed the instructions in the FAQ, but have been unsuccessful. For now, I'm using a Samsung S6 cell. I have plans to get a newer tablet shortly. When I logged in with Facebook, it prompted me with a message, "it appears you've played this game before", then asked if I would like to sync my account. However, when I clicked "yes", it just brought me back to the new account created.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but am wondering if I can get some assistance in accessing my old account so that I may continue enjoying the game. Though, I'm a bit wary as it appears there's been so many changes to the game, I'll have to learn it all over again.

If anybody could help out, it would be much appreciated.

 

Unfortunatley you cannot sync across platforms. Try contacting the devs, they might be able to help you recover your old process.

 

*sigh*.. was thinking that was the case, but was hoping otherwise.

You can sync across platforms.
I've just done it using Facebook sync.

 

how did you do it?

 

Clear all the data from the battle bay app (on both the play store and device), delete and reinstall.
Keep the fb app logged in on the profile your bb account is linked to.
Start battle bay and play through the turorial.
Go into accounts, select sync to Facebook and it should ask you something about having played before.
Tap on yes and it should give you an option of the two accounts, just pick the one you want.
When I did it it didn't work the first time for some reason, but it worked fine the second time around.

I did the same manipulation, but it does not require me to choose multiple accounts when I click on yes, but to load again the same account post tutorial...
an idea ? an advice ?

I am having the same problem. It says it is synced to Facebook on my iOS device, but when I try to load it on my Android device, it just loads the account that I just finished the tutorial on. I have already tried unlinking the Facebook account from my game by going into my Facebook settings and trying a second time, but the issue persisted. Any help?

 

If you contact the devs about this issue, make sure to tell them your player ID, and your level.

I ended up finding a solution. In fact on my new android phone it was not necessary to be connected to the linked FB account with my IOS account. So I disconnected FB and created one more FB for the tutorial on my android, then disconnected in game, and reconnection via FB in the game, and there the game offers me my account princiapl
