What type should this be, and what cost?

    Hi friends. I have another suggestion for this game. It is called "The Anchor". Now I haven't decided, so this could be a yellow or blue item. If it were yellow, only 3 ships could use it. If it were blue, then it would be passive. I'll explain both versions. Yellow means yellow item and blue means I'm explaining the blue version.

    Actually I'll say whats similar of both, like the basic outline.
    The Anchor would give a damage migitation buff when the ship stops completely or when activated the ship stops (you can still turn in the time it takes) and after, doesn't let the user move for (5) seconds. When you upgrade it, the anchor would get an increase in damage migitation. Also, when using on a capture point, getting You guys decide whether it should be a 1 or 2 cost weapon and why.

    Perks: Just playing around with these ones:
    Increase Migitation .25, .5 and .75%
    Increase time anchored.

    I don't hate the idea... but...

    I don't see how it's feasible for a yellow item, the last thing a speeder wants is to be stationary for 5 seconds.
    Enforcer and fixer would struggle also... Well maybe not a selfish fixer who could become almost indestructible with 75% damage mitigation.

    I feel like if at all - it should be a unique ability of a defender (which maybe needs a buff).
    Maybe a 1 time per match use which gives allies in the vicinity a 5-10% defence buff - But you better slow that defender down to a stop/crawl as I don't want rushed by a team with mobile damage mitigation.

    It should be a passive and maybe it can just increase your defense while you're stationary by points instead of percentage.

    i don't see the point of it of having any strategic value in battle... it reduces damage, so it won't help with capture since any damage received by the capturing boat will reset the capture timer. it's not feasible being a passive abillity since staying still is actually quite hard to do moreso with turning while not moving forward/backward. but i guess it would be good on a defender - defender rushes then puts anchor down to turtle up and keep firing. add more details though, what's your proposed cooldown? 75% damage reduction is too much. depending on your proposed item stats, this item can be OP or useless.

    YellowOcean, you know when you are hit by a tesla bolt. You get stunned and have a cooldown that tells when you can next get stunned. There should be that type of mechanic. Like a 5 second duration and a 10-15 second cooldown until the anchor can activate. The yellow idea is scrapped (a bad idea overall) But the damage mitigation would NOT be over 20-30%. 20-30% would only be in the top tier of items.
    Soon I'll make a revised post about this or edit this one (if that's even possible)
