So if winning raises your infamy by 24, and losing reduces it by 24... Then explain this.

So according to my profile I have won 56 battles more than wich I lost. 56 times 24 equals 1344. So my infamy should be around 1344 right? I know that 24 is a rounded number, so it could vary a little bit, but that still doesn't explain that really big difference.

And btw, I never lost a battle in the absolute beginning. And I also never, ever tanked my infamy.

I also remember that at some point I was around 3000 infamy, but I had more losses than victories wich makes even less sense.

So does anyone have an explanation for this?

So that's what I overlooked. According to my calculation I should have around 95 draws for it to make sense. And given my amount of battles, 95 draws should be very well possible. Thanks for your answer.

    (Man, now I feel stupid:oops:)

You have far more wins than losses than just the 56 you listed. The draws often +/- 1 range for it evens out. You have 3411 more infamy points than when you started out. 3411/24=142.125. So you have about 143 more wins than losses.

It can vary quite a lot, only well balanced matches are 24/24. If they can't balance the match properly they start adding handicap to the infamy lost or gained.

Example: here we won an unbalanced match, they had Bloody Devil (4.4k), our best was Deadman at (3.2k).. It was a handicap match, and we got 27 infamy as a result.
Had we lost we would probably have lost -21 inf.

In my most unbalanced match we lost 19 infamy I think.

(over 6000 matches it would probably balance out though) :)

I had a theory draws raised infamy because of the 50% wins/battles. But it was debunked.

I now, also have a new theory that speeders and fixers not getting rewarded properly is the reason they are able to climb easily. They are getting low rewards meaning the game thinks they are contributing little so they think they are a low-performing player, but they are very game changing so I would guess matchmaking doesn't put them with 4 poor-performing players like it would a shooter who is doing very good and contributing lots stat-wise.

Just a theory, I'm not saying it's that way :p

It isn't. :) The matchmaker does not look at your stats at all when making the matches. It does not know anything about your history either. It just uses your infamy to determine how strong you are, and makes the matches based on that. But, this all is off topic to this thread. Let's not make this again yet another matchmaking thread.
