Should Mines be a part of guild quests?

    Guild quest should always be based on weapon that can GUARANTEE DAMAGE, though less but it should!

    Damage from Mine is uncertain, you can't expect your enemy to run over them every time! :)

    Rest of weapon are based on your skill, mine is partially based on your skill and heavily based on enemy's stupidity! :p
    Edit: It's a joke, u need heavy skill to use mine!

    You risk 1 item slot to use mines, that should be quest worthy enough IMO.

    Not really sure why Mine was removed from guild quests but I still get resource quests for them...

    That one slot is everything for a fixer
    Half the firepower for defender , enforcer and speeder
    And 1/3 firepower for shooter

    At mk3/mk4 , so for a lot of players mine quest won't be easy to complete! :)

    No, but they should rework all the stupid specific weapon quests. They have been ruining gameplay for long enough already.

    But if they insist that incitement to buy more diverse weapons is more important than quality of gameplay, then Mine is not half as bad as Cannon, Carronade & (most) mortars. Mine is good enough to be useable, so plenty of players have a viable Mine leveled up already.

    X Damage with Mine is much more realistic thanx Damage with Standard Mortar (etc.). At least for a Nightmare guild.

    In an single game mines might not be guaranteed damage, but on average (which is the one that matters when farming 1.5million Damage with a specific wep) they are doing just fine.
    And unlike some of the worst offenders (Carronade, standard Cannon, Ballpark/st/Long Range Mortar), there is actually a gameplay reason for wanting to use a mine and a chance people can run one at an appropriate level.

    But again, the problem to address is to get rid of these quests & add something that can be done without being detrimental to your teams odds for succes.

    Yes on Carronade, but why Canon? Threads have been posted here that show it to be one of the highest damage-per-minute weapons available.

    Dps is not the only thing that matters. Cannons are tougher than they look to shoot. You might want to shoot period point blank, but standard cannon requires some degree of mastery to use. Im setting up a cannon+ bt dps build, but only have t1 epics for now. Prepping for the blasty revenge nerf which is prolly gonna happen post nerfing sniper cannon.

    I think mine should be a part. I know it isn't exactly a direct damage unit but it is a part of weaponry and it deserves a chance. I started playing mine because my internet was unstable and mine could stay in the map and deal damage even when I am disconnected but now it is different. Mine control, separation, trap and capture are part of the game. The main role guild quests fulfill is to introduce a player with diversity of weapons in the bay. So why not make mine part of it? I know it requires skill to place and doesn't guarantee damage but it is still part of weaponry. But I suggest devs to introduce quest reset button before they add mine quest to give players option to reset it if mine quest isn't worthy to give it a go.

    The problem is one of quests that can be passed in a reasonable time. We had a match where it was easier to clear two entire boards than to complete a single carronade or flare quest. As such I think it's been mentioned before that all teams in the same rivalry group should have the SAME quests... which would make Mine or Carronade quests more tolerable. That's not what we have today.
