Serious scrapping question

So im always finding myself low on rare pieces, and no matter how much i buy in the shop they still disappear pretty quickly cause im always upgrading my main rare weapons. I was looking at my team, and i have this lvl 8 rare Sniper cannon that will scrap for a hefty amount. I haven't used it for a while because I have a rare tier 2 cannon and an uncommon tier 3 blast cannon. The only thing keeping me from scrapping is that I might want to use it later on. Should I scrap it?

 

Don't scrap any of your rares or epics, you will regret it later if you do, trust me. Just farm everithing you get that is according to your prefered ships and scrap everithing else, for example, i'm a defender therefore i scrap all yellows i get.

It's truly up to your play style. Try out different weapons first and then focus on 1-2 ships.
For myself, I'm a fixer and shooter...I switch because it depends on the meta at the time...and how my gameplay is going
So I keep greens/reds...yellow, I have what i need so i scrap and blue, i have what i need unless I need a specific item to upgrade to another tier
So for me...all torps...all mortars...rocket launchers...etc, gone. Cannons and greens i keep.
That's my play style.

Whatever you're comfortable with...keep those. Uncommon and rares can be just as powerful as epics...so be careful not to focus too much on the rarity...just focus on leveling up your weapons and your tactics...

Scrapping the Rare Sniper Cannon wouldn't be smart. It's one of the most used cannons in the game.
As for uncommons, they become quite useless in the mid game.

My Rare Level 40 Sniper Cannon is pretty much my main damage weapon, it does 1200 hp damage on crit, and 432 damage normal. I also have the perks all filled and optimized to 30% Crit Chance (3 slots, with Rare 5% Crit damage as well as Bhurt levels = 30% Crit Chance)

 

I only scrap the weapons i don't need. Especially rare items or epics. Once you have all the items you need to evolve to t5, u can start scrapping that item because you don't need it

I.E

I have enough rare carronades to evolve my t4 into t5. Therefore i can start scrapping rare carronades for rare parts because i don't need rare ones anymore.
