First of all, I'm a lv32 shooter at 3.6k infamy. i was there in beta when you only have 3 tiers and spending money gets you no where.

Out of all the Rovio games this one I think is by far the best...because it's the only one not involving birds. Although I don't know the figures for how much profit each game is generating but I assume the average age (and cash) of battlebay players is much higher than angry birds. I have on VIP chat seen on multiple occasions that this game is the first time they spent money on and really enjoy it (they're mostly below mk4). So why not invest more into this game to keep the active player base and good community for this game?

I don't know what position DEVS are in this, weither they get paid salary or bonuses based on profits but they should care about this great game they made and I think it will give them a name in the future if it continues to grow and expand in content and in turn player base. I mean it's a genius idea and one of a kind experience and that's something "NEW".

In the present world for a product to be successful it has to copy from a similar successful model (endless angry bird trash) or make a risky new model (clash of clans, and battle bay if it releases more content).

A flaw in ROVIOs part of that the player base for their other games (birds birds birds) doesn't match the ones in battle bay (0 synergy) but some how they took a massive risk to fund it but doesn't commit fully??? There's been 0 change to the game in terms of gameplay since beta.

DEVS probably signed some form of confidentiality agreement with ROVIO otherwise they should care about people talking about leaving with quite a serious tone above 3k infamy. People like banderas could probably set a company and buy Battlebay from Rovio if they give it up.

What do you guys think about ROVIO's actions on battle bay.

In financial time i ve seen they won around 200m dollars with angry bird film.
Rovio try to work into media for sell product about angry bird.

After, they try new method of money by the p2w game.

About battlebay, found nothing in economic news or things like this.

Looks like Rovio does care. Look, I nearly gave up on the game before, but then I see this: Few games come close to BB. If Rovio created this, they do know what it's worth. This makes me feel like the game is well loved by the devs.
    Damn, that sounded weird

I'm sure they love the game but android app market is really tough, the only games that beat the consistent activity of battle bay is clash ir clans and candy crush according to my knowledge

I've downloaded several games but never played any beyond a month. Bb is a different level. But sadly battle bay is a top rated game, not exactly popular one. I believe it happened well before it's time. I'm guessimg they aren't making as much cash on it as they would like to which is why they need to work on other lame angry birds projects to make decent games like battle bay.

I hope no, but one think is sure I have maxed account in clash royal and they are really smart improving his game from the beginning that's why they keep up with great success, they give new cards every couple of weeks, tournaments, new arenas, the best youtubers, their own tv with the best games ... BB has the potential to be the next reference game. But it will have to wake up and greatly improve its contents, because players who have played a lot are bored and new frustrated by not being able to evolve, bad formula. I hope we are wrong and soon we will see these changes. So we can continue having fun and they make money.

    Test some game like bb.
Some are good (with submarine its fun), but less exciting, they seem slower and boring. And no one got a 3d motor with wave like bb. Bb game play is far more exciting.

Now problem is lack of contents, funny event. But we are in september, lets wait until end of month :)

They will not stop bb... Making a game like this, a motor lile this for stop it ??? Ridiculous

A lot of big spenders are still spending thousands on this game. I see no reason why they would give up, at least for now.

No company gives up a game, eventually the game dies on it's own, might happen to bb, certainly not now but a lot of people claim it is dying and I would like to see the average active members number to check that they are right.

The numbers have been declining for the past 2 weeks according to Samsung game launcher. Be advised that this data is only counts amount of players with Samsung devices, there are a lot of players out there that play on other devices with different brands.
But considering Samsung is the biggest selling OEM of Android, I think this data is relevant to a certain degree.

That's not a significant dip to call a decline man. We'll know the game is dying for sure mm time takes 15 seconds

Well, from 25k to 20k in 2 weeks is somewhat concerning, that's 20% of decline. If this trend continues for the next month there will be significantly less players, I can already imagine the matchmaking will be shittier than it is right now.

Also you need to consider the nature of mobile game, it's not the same as console or pc. Mobile games are very disposable, if the player find it not interesting anymore they'll just uninstall it because they don't have anything to lose and there are plethora of free alternatives out there, they won't bother sticking around like pc or console gamers do.

Why BB isn't as popular as (I dare to mention) Clash Royale even though the gaming experience is far more superior in BB:
    1. Updates Doesn't come as often.
    2. No events, weekly quests.
    3. 3k infamy f2p wall.
    4. No purpose for guilds.
    5. BB devs don't care enough for game (rather they don't realize its true potential).
    6. Every week CR devs give something for players to look forward to. BB doesn't for months.
    7. Item drops in shop is not infamy based.
I know that both games are different and it doesn't give enough field for comparision but still battle bay devs should take hints from all time popular game and how it hooks up players into playing for a long time rather than making them quit out of frustration.

The things is that it's been months since we've seen significant changes to the game. It's not about hope, it's about that it gets repetitive and boring, there's nothing else to achieve.
And about this, Samsung is the biggest android terminal producer so I would say it could be representative. I know Americans love iOS and some Europeans also, but the truth is that most of Europe and Asia uses android.

Personally, I agree with all the above said and I also think that devs should talk more with the players, via the forum or the game. We want to know what's the future of bb and they would benefit from that contact basically because when know better how the game works (as a game) than them. And I know there are a couple devs that participate in the forums such as Miika but that's not enough that all.

They still care about the game. Just doesn't seem like it's a top priority though. But also, they did have many of their staff on vacation over the summer. They also have to do a lot of preperations and double checking to make sure EVERYTHING they are adding or changing isn't flawed or creating bugs. Give it some time. I mean I am most definitely impatiently waiting for an update to keep the game fresh but all we can do is wait

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that this game has to be very difficult to update vs the card type games. Look what the smallest tweek and nerf of one weapon or perk can do to the gameplay. Rovio has to be very, very careful because one bad line of code in an update could potentially ruin the game forever. There's a saying, "If you want it bad you will get it bad." Whatever update they are working on will be a welcome improvement, but only if it's done right.
