    First off, perks offer too much. People in the forums have been complaining, so here's an idea to fix the solution.

    Uncommon perks, +40 gear score,
    Rare perks, +70 gear score,
    Epic perks, +100 gear score,
    Leggy perks, +150 gear score.

    The effects of the perks could also be tweaked
    Cooldown for Nitro, healing items, railgun, etc -4%, -7%, -10%
    Range for healing, 2, 3, 4 diameter, range,
    Strength of healing / fire, +4%, +6%, +8%
    Cannon damage, +4%, +6%, +8%
    Projectile speed (new), +4, +6, +8
    Fire duration, +0.4, +0.7, +1
    You get the idea - Uncommons are buffed, epics are nerfed to balance out the difference.

    If you dont like why the perks / gear score was tweaked, tell me why

    Edit: make uncommon defence perks to 8, 10, 12
    (You don’t want defenders with 5 shields with 4 epic perks each)?
    That’s 48 x 5. Indestructable

    I disagree about nerfing epics to buff uncommons. None of the mid-late game players are ever going to use uncommon perks.

    Just tweak the gearscores. The stats are fine as is, except maybe the defense perks.

    Defense perks need to be reworked drastically. +9 is a nothing burger.

    An epic defense perks should be +20 or even +40. Think big developers. Seriously this is the most underused perk besides rudder or lube perks on the bay. By buffing this perk players would use it.

    Or make defense perks be percentage based.

    Or even have them hold a debuff to fire effect by x amount of percent.

    Or mortar and torpedo aoe. Damage reduction. Whatever the case.

    It's time to universally buff defense perks.

    Actually defense reducing mortar and torp damage too. Defense is equal to health as durability. I see it is pretty balanced right now. Same for perks +40 would be way too much, +9 is enough. Also devs can't make defense be percentage base because if you do that there won't be a difference between defense and health anymore. Health is powerful against burst damages(exp cannon, railgun, big torpide, firebomb etc.) , defense is powerful against sustained damages(standart cannon, sniper cannon, swift torpedo, every mortars except big berta, carronade, missle and every all mortars except big berta etc.). Additionally defense protects you way better than health if your team including a fixer.
