Returning players getting reward punishment for nothing

    So i decided to play this game after not playing for a long time and since i was at a higher infamy long time ago and now at slightly lower infamy i get punished for going too low. But now the problem is that after being away for long time everyone is stronger and i cant get back up at higher infamy. Now im stuck with this punishment. Is there a way to fix this?

    The only solution would be to play events and level up your gear a lot.

    Unfortunately not. If you want to play ranked, then the best way would be to lose until you reach a comfortable infamy, then wait for the season to reset so the infamy tanking penalty 'disappears'. (Never dropped that much before for such a long time so I'm not exactly sure, but I think that's how it works)
