Replay Suggestions

    I often see guildmates excited about a match or outcome and share a replay, but rarely will anyone invest the time to watch their replay - particularly when the first 30 to 60 seconds of a match are typically uneventful.

    So, I have a few suggestions to improve replays:
    • Add a fast forward (x2, x5, x10), rewind, and pause button.
    • Allow the viewer to turn off parts of the HUD (e.g., minimap, names, weapons, etc.) for a better viewing experience and better screenshots.
    • Link the replay to a battle results page, then add a play button to that screen, so we don't have to watch the entire match to see the final result.

    Likewise, albeit more labor intensive, it would be nice to have a "featured replays" tab with the occasional replay of close matches posted from each league. This would give newer players a place to watch, learn, and aspire towards.


    Side note: Some of these suggestions are scattered throughout the forums, but I thought they were deserving of a dedicated thread.
