    Pretty much what @TheFixer27 said. Threads that are fun at heart are okay. But threads that do something like, "Spam likes here!" Are inappropriate, even in the offtopic section.

    Eh it doesn't appeal to me in the slightest! But Seems like he was just board and was trying to interact with the bay community in a way he thought was fun!
    Who cares who has the most likes and where / how they got em!

    They lock usually for good reason, such as free likes and such.
    For example, if I made a thread that said: free likes :p
    It would get locked. You have to earn your likes and stuff.

    You should check out old forum posts, it's gotten a lot more civil with the MVPs and moderation.
