Rail Gun Bug

There is a problem with the rail gun registering a hit. Can be very close with clean line of sight on a still target and "miss" even with a green target reticle and the visual for a hit.

 

It's either ping(whatever you do and whatever your opponent and teammate do takes time to send the info to the server) or they nitro right before you shoots your RAILGUN but ping makes you see that you hit?(wait isn't that the same thing??)

 

Could also be that Rail gun at close range does very little damage, so you may be hitting target but not causing the damage you are expecting to do.

 

i use rail-gun,i understand your point,the thing you just mentioned is called an "unregistered shot",the shot hits the target but damage is not counted.it may be due bb server lag(which happens on a speeding boat)or your HIGH ping! i know it can be quite irritating,it has cost me lot of games.Also happens when you hit the when speeder fires nitro!

But i can assure you explosive canon unregistered shots are even worse and more common than sniper crit chance lol! slower the projectile,more the chance of unregistered shot..

 

And also after shooting the railgun and suddenly before the shot hits the opponent if you got stunned that shot doesn't do any damage
