Public API for stats or data dumps

Is there anyway we can get stats for Battle bay? Either an API or nightly data dumps or something?

It'd be good if we could build a little website displaying stats and players history etc outside of the app

Thanks for the replies! I know the stats will be there as that's how they'll be targeting monetisation, developments etc. I guess they might value the information too much to let the public have full access, but it would be good to get at least some useful data out. Other games stick out team stats and some profile info like you can get in the game, just nice to have it outside of the app!

 

I've been getting into this game a lil more and I was thinking the EXACT same thing. Data dumps to a public website - how awesome! Track guild member's trophies individually over time. Look at your damage stats with specific weapons and in specific combinations. Figure out exactly how effective that enforcer really is...One thing, in particular, that I'd like to see some mass-data on is the guild tokens raffle. It seems to land on juice boxes and parts a little too often.

But as others have suspected, Rovio is likely collecting a variety of this data already for monetization (and game improvement, I would hope), and I'm guessing they consider it too much of a risk to grant direct access to third parties, particularly given their recent announcements about third-party services.

So...short of using screen scraping tools, we'll probably have to wait.
