Please tweak up the ship's speed

    Are these boats or life rafts ? The reason is that these boats are so slow it's ridiculous & i can't even run from the delay of a mortar, if they were a bit faster then proper skill could be utilized in 3v1 (ships unsunk) scenarios, even in 5v5 battles. The speed in the mk1 shooter seems quicker even without turbo added, it still felt quicker than the mk5 shooter with turbo levelled up & perked. I understand the speed drop from mk1 shooter upwards but come on, it takes me half the match just to make it round a small map, it's like it was designed for retirees over 60 & giving a lot of players the ships !

    You get more speed crew talents and TURBO IS A MUST AT ALL HIGHER LEVEL ships,to compensate

    Honestly it shouldn't be mandatory. It shkuld be optional like all the other items in the game but since ships are so slow it becomes the numberone used item in the game :/

    Don't allcaps in thread titles, please. Makes it look like you're yelling.

    This is a complex issue as alluded to by @Zachiderp because it drives the necessity of building and using a Turbo. Buffing speed makes it moot, but that's a deeper balance question.

    sry to disagree with you but I don´t think boats need a speed boost in general. As others have mentioned, this would just make turbo more useless and my t4 epic turbo already maxes out nearly every boat, just work on upgrading your turbo if possible and you will be good :)

    A further issue is that speeders already pay a huge penalty in terms of hp to be a bit faster than other boats.

    You might think shooters need more speed (which I kind of agree with), yet compared to my speeder I think they’re already way too fast.

    Considering all the defence points they get, shooters ought to be barely faster than defenders, yet I struggle to outrun them sometimes, which really makes me wonder what I’m actually getting in return for all the hp I’m missing.

    If you are interested in speed change to speeder. Why unnecessary increase in speed for all ships?

    Everyone use turbo because it's a must, most people want to use other blue items too

    Why does the Mk1 shooter seem faster, even without adding on a turbo item ? I understand that speed does drop when Tiers go up, but what i don't understand is that Tiers usually get faster & stronger with upgrades but there are no adjustments besides giving up weapon spots for useless but needed items like gear lube, rudder, turbo etc which should be on the ship already & without those items on your ship, it feels as if you're controlling a tug boat.
